Renato Russo is released from ICU
According to his press aid, the Stock Car Light driver Renato Russo has physically recovered from the accident last Sunday (09/12). His conditions have steadily improved and he has been released from the intensive care unit to a regular room at São Luiz Hospital. The only permanent damage is a 30% intestine loss, which was removed during surgery to stop severe blood loss and should not compromise Russo’s athletic conditions.
Despite his physical well-being, Renato was extremely moved upon hearing the news on Rafael Sperafico’s death. The driver will remain under observation at the hospital for an undetermined period of time.
