Stock Car Parade in São Paulo
The Nextel Cup Stock Car Parade is already a tradition at every city venue, and with the final on Sunday coming in fast, São Paulo was no exception.
Nextel Cup drivers Antonio Jorge Neto of Eurofarma RC (Mitsubishi), Ricardo MaurÃcio and Marcos Gomes, both in Medley/ A. Mattheis (Chevrolet), went full speed at a main highway in the outskirts of São Paulo, zigzagging between cars.
Passers by and car passengers were extremely surprised to see V8 engine race cars circulating in regular traffic alongside buses, cars and motorcycles, but the consensus was that everyone enjoyed the powerful roar of the engines.
