Stock Jr.: Jason Oliveira wins the Master title
With incredible determination, the Stock Jr. driver Jason Oliveira won the race in Tarumã and guaranteed the Master title. Jason crossed the finish line only 28 miliseconds ahead of Vitor Genz. Following in third was Cássio Homem de Mello.
Jason started in 9th place and can celebrate his victory in style. “It was a balanced race for everyone, I started trying to preserve the tyres because the track temperature was very high”, Oliveira commented.
With a third place on the podium, Cássio Homem de Mello fell behind to last place after an accident involving the drivers Lucas Finger and Patrick Gonçalves. With the Safety Car’s clearing, Cássio fought for positions in brilliant form, and jumped from 8th to 3rd place in only four laps.
Even though Jason has won the Master title (a special category for drivers over 30 with a separate point system), the main Stock Jr. category is still undefined.
