Valdeno Brito’s pole position in Nextel Cup

With a time of 59sec357, Valdeno Brito of Neo QuĂmica-Neosoro/ JF Racing (Peugeot) guaranteed a pole position in the Nextel Cup round in BrasĂlia. He is one of the seven drivers in a total of 8 rounds to conquer the starting grid’s top spot. Increasing competitiveness is the main characteristic of all three Stock Car categories this season.

Brito has been improving steadily during the course of the season, which leads him to count on a successful race on sunday morning. “The team has evolved and my car is becoming more and more competitive. If everything goes as expected, I will make it into the playoffs and go for my first victory.”

Valdeno adds, “Starting in front is always good because the drivers keep the pace up, and the cars’ potentials are almost equal. I will definitely try to make the most of this opportunity.”
