The Nextel Cup driver for the Katálogo Racing Team (Mitsubishi), Alan Hellmeister, dominated today’s practices recording his fastest time in the 2nd Open Practice, with a time of 1min00sec289. Ricardo Sperafico from Vivanz 307 Racing came in second (1min00sec427), and in third, Pedro Gomes from L&M Racing (Peugeot), with a time of 1min00sec489, who had some bad luck in the race in Curitiba, where he started in first but did not finish because of a flat tyre.
