Nextel Cup: Popó Bueno’s comments on the race track in Brasília
The driver for the São Luiz/ Hot Car team, Popó Bueno, commented on the track in Brasília. “It is a very agile circuit, with fast curves, particularly the one that ends in the entrance to the starting straight. It is an external track, with no insides and a good, safe escape area,” described Popó, who races with a Chevrolet Astra.
Popó expects to do well in the qualifying practices and get to the starting front. “We finished in 8th in the race in Curitiba, even though we started in 21st. If we can get a good spot in the grid we will have even better chances of finishing closer to the podium in Brasília”, he concludes.
