Stock Car Light: Macedo evaluates the 2007 season

Murillo Macedo from J Racing finished the Curitiba round of the Stock Car Light category in 9th place. Macedo is in 18th place in the championship with 17 points.

The driver evaluated the 2007 championship so far: “The championship is very competitive. Stock Car Light is nowadays a category, which in its essence, represents the equivalent to a pre-category to Nextel Cup. The championship is molded similarly to the V8, apart from a few minor differences.”

Macedo even expressed his personal hunch as to who would win the 2007 Stock Car Light title: “Although Bragantini is doing extremely well, I believe that Norberto Gresse might win the title. In Curitiba, Gresse was very focused. He could have disputed with Carrerinha, but chose instead to ensure his position in 3rd.”
