Nextel Cup: Marcos Gomes guarantees spot in the playoffs
With 57 points in the 2007 Nextel Cup Stock Car season, Marcos Gomes, Medley/ A. Mattheis (Chevrolet), has a guaranteed spot in the playoffs, which kicks off in the 9th round in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In a very good phase in his career, Gomes hopes for a good result in BrasÃlia. “I’m expecting a good race. I will try to hold on to the 4th overall position in the championship, which will be very important to me.”
