8th round: 23rd of September in BrasÃlia
The 8th round of the Stock Car championships will be held in BrasÃlia, the nation’s capital, on the 23rd of September.
In the same round in last year’s season, a wet morning caused many teams to change their tactics and switch to rain tyres. However, as the morning wore on, the track was perfectly dry by Lap 3, and pole position Giuliano Losacco could not keep up with Chico Serra, who won the race with slick tyres. The podium was completed by Pedro Gomes and Hoover Orsi, in third.
