Stock Jr.: Cauê Carvalho made the second best time of the day
Cauê Carvalho has been extremely consistent in the Stock Jr. championship, and after leading Thursday’s practice, achieved the second fastest lap time on Friday’s morning practice session with a time of 1min01s395. Cauê believes “…it is important to start up front”.
The driver commented on Rafael Negrão, who completed the fastest lap this morning. “Negrão is doing very well here, I could tell as soon as the practice began”, says Carvalho.
Carvalho believes the race will be very competitive due to the outer oval ring’s characteristics, which means drivers have to run a very tight race. “The race will be extremely competitive, so we should allow the race to develop naturally and try not to be too anxious.” Cauê won the last race in Santa Cruz do Sul, which made him the current championship leader.
