Stock Car Light: André Bragantini believes in repeat performance
Curitiba is the only city other than São Paulo that hosts a Stock Car round more than once, and the Stock Car V8 Light driver, André Bragantini of Nova/ RR Competições won the first time, in the second round of the season. In second place with 54 points, Bragantini believes he can do a repeat in the city’s circuit and win the 7th round.
André comments: “My expectations could not be any better. Our cars have been delivering great performances, and both my teammate, Ariel Barranco and I, had good runs in Santa Cruz do Sul. We were in second and third until I got into an accident and Barranco lost positions due to a slippery track.”
He then comments on the fact that the race will take place in the track’s outer ring. “I believe our cars can do well again. The track’s characteristics change because we’re racing in the outer ring, so we hope the cars will adapt well, particularly the engine, which will count for a lot in the straights. We also can’t forget the two curves. They are of fundamental importance to making the most of the car.”
